President Zardari expresses concern over the plight of people in occupied Kashmir

Islamabad: President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, has expressed deep concern over the dire situation of the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, reiterating that Pakistan will always stand with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for the right to self-determination.

According to Kashmir Media Service, President Asif Ali Zardari made these remarks while addressing a joint session of Parliament. He stated that for several decades, the Kashmiri people have been subjected to the illegal occupation, oppression, and severe human rights violations by India. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people.

He also called on the international community to take decisive action against the atrocities committed by the Indian occupying forces. “The voice of the oppressed Kashmiris cannot be silenced, and Pakistan will continue to raise this issue at every international forum,” he said.
