Indian forces launch search operation in Rajouri

Jammu: Indian forces launched a massive cordon and search operation in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces including the Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operations Group (SOG) launched the operation across several villages in the Thanamandi area of the district after CCTV footage purportedly captured the movement of two suspected persons, officials said.
The officials claimed that ‘suspected militants’ were reportedly caught on CCTV crossing a road late on Sunday night.
The search operation was continuing when last reports were received.
In Rajouri, the prolonged military operation entered its 53rd consecutive day, with extensive searches backed by drones, gunship helicopters and electronic surveillance in the Manjakote and Sunderbani areas.
Meanwhile, Indian forces continued massive cordon and search operations in Shopian district. Troops have been conducting military operations for the 11th consecutive day in Saidpora Payan, Amshipora, Shamsipora, Chanapora, Gundhadoo and adjoining areas of the district.
