Protests in Jammu against threat to livelihood of traders from flyover project
Jammu: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists staged a protest demonstration in Jammu against the construction of flyover stating that the project with affect traders and other communities badly.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was led by MSJK leader Sunil Dimple, who said that before going for the construction of flyover, the government should hold talks with the traders, residents and shopkeepers who will be affected by the project. He claimed that the flyover will destroy the livelihood of many traders and their families.
Dimple voiced for the construction of an exclusive circular ring road from Ambphala to Roopnagar and upto Akhnoor as an alternative.
Those who were also present in the protest included Ashwani Kumar, Jai Raj Pandita, Kaka Ram, Ishan Kumar, Rocky Kumar, Vicky Kumar, Ashwani Nayar, Rattan Lal Bhat, Sushiel Kumar and many others.
