Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visits bereaved families, offers condolences in Srinagar
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq visited Braripora, Nawa Kadal in Srinagar to offer condolences to the family of late Haji Ghulam Nabi Rah, a long-standing well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family and a devoted associate of the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz paid tribute to the deceased’s religious, social and public services, expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and his admission to Jannatul Firdous.
Mirwaiz also visited Fayaz Ahmad Shah and condoled the demise of his wife and offered Fatiha for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz expressed profound grief over the demise of Dr Irfan Nahvi, son of Mohammad Maqbool Nahvi of Khanqah-e-Moula, presently residing at Barzulla. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved Nahvi family and prayed for the departed soul and patience and strength for the family.
A delegation also visited the Nahvi family in Barzulla and participated in a collective Fatiha Khawani for Dr Irfan Nahvi.
