Protests held in Jammu against rising unemployment, non-payment of salaries

Jammu : In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists staged a protest demonstration in Jammu against rising unemployment and prolonged delay in salary payments to government employees.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was led by MSJK President Sunil Dimple. Addressing the protesters, Dimple said employees of the Education Department, including vocational trainers, cluster resource coordinators, seasonal teachers and MTS, have not received salaries for the last five months.
He added that Special Police Officers have also been facing repeated delays and have “never got salaries in time.
Dimple said educated youth in Jammu and Kashmir are under severe stress due to joblessness and lack of recruitment.
The protesters raised slogans against the administration and sought urgent steps to address unemployment and ensure timely payment of wages.A
mong those present were Dev Raj, Vipan Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Mukesh Gupta, Ram Kumar Das, Shafi Khan, Akbar Khan and other MSJK activists.
