Mirwaiz greets Muslims on Milad, urges adherence to Prophet’s teachings

Srinagar : Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community on the blessed occasion of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), emphasizing the enduring message of peace, compassion and brotherhood brought by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a message, the Mirwaiz described the Prophet’s life and message as an eternal guiding light for all humanity. He stressed that the true significance of Milad-un-Nabi lies in understanding and practically following the Seerah and Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) in individual and collective lives.
“The occasion should renew our commitment to His Seerah and Sunnah and inspire us to embody His teachings through kindness, honesty, and service to others,” the Mirwaiz stated.He urged imams, Ulema, teachers and parents to actively propagate the message of the Seerah, particularly among the younger generation. The Mirwaiz also called upon mosques and educational institutions to contribute toward building a compassionate and morally upright society.
