NPC delegation visits APHC-AJK office, consults on programme of fifth martyrdom anniversary of Ali Gilani
Islamabad: A delegation of National Press Club, Islamabad, led by Finance Secretary Abid Abbasi visited the office of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir APHC-AJK) chapter.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation included Abdul Razaq Bhatti, Bashir Usmani, Aslam Raza, Aqeel Ahmed Tareen, Chaudhry Rafique, Waseem Abbasi, Abdul Latif Dar and Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar.
On behalf of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, General Secretary Advocate Pervez Ahmed, Altaf Ahmed Butt, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Raja Khadim Hussain, Zahid Ashraf, Sheikh Abdul Majid and Information Secretary Imtiaz Wani welcomed the delegation.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the main programme to be held at the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad tomorrow (September 1) to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the veteran Hurriyat leader Shaheed Syed Ali Gilani.
On this occasion, consultations were held on the arrangements of the programme, media coverage, participation of the journalist community and other matters.
The National Press Club delegation paid tribute to the great struggle of Syed Ali Gilani and his eternal services for the Kashmir freedom movement and expressed its commitment to provide full media coverage of the programme.
The APHC-AJK leaders thanked the National Press Club delegates for their presence and cooperation and said the struggle, ideology and sacrifices of Syed Ali Gilani are a beacon of light for the Kashmir freedom movement.
