Indian police arrest 7 youth, demolish structure in Budgam
Srinagar: Indian police on Thursday arrested, at least, seven people and demolished a structure in Beerwah area of Budgam district in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The police claimed that the structure was being used by the detainees, whom police described as overground workers, to wage anti-India propaganda. It said that the youth were arrested while affixing posters in and around Beerwah.
The detainees, as per police statement, have been identified as as Romain Rasool Sheikh, Irfan Nazir Sheikh, Rizwan Nazir Sheikh, Sahil Javid Sheikh, Jahangir Bashir Mir, Tariq Ashraf Sheikh, and Shakir Lateef Pathan– all residents of Beerwah.
