Former Indian officials, leaders assert Pulwama attack was a false flag operation
Islamabad: The Modi government is observing the fifth anniversary of the Pulwama attack, which claimed the lives of 40 Indian Central Reserve Police Force personnel on February 14, 2019, with a renewed spirit to use it as a tool in the upcoming general elections.
The attack, according to India’s own former officials and political leaders, was a false flag operation orchestrated by elements within the Indian government to malign Pakistan and bolster political agendas.
Former Governor of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Satya Pal Malik, has called for a Supreme Court-monitored investigation into the Pulwama attack. He cited glaring inconsistencies and lapses in security measures. Malik highlighted that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) had requested aircraft for transportation due to the unusual convoy size, but the request was denied by the Union home ministry. He emphasized the need for transparency in uncovering the truth behind the attack.
Further corroborating Malik’s assertions, leaked messages by BJP and RSS-backed Indian journalist Arnab Goswami have shed light on the involvement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and key institutions in orchestrating the Pulwama incident. The messages suggest a coordinated effort to manipulate public sentiment and sway electoral outcomes.
Additionally, political figures from various Indian parties have raised doubts regarding the authenticity of the Pulwama attack. Congress leader Udit Raj has accused Prime Minister Modi of planning the attack to consolidate political power ahead of the parliamentary elections. Similarly, National Conference leader Sheikh Mustafa Kamal has called for an inquiry into both the 2016 Uri attack and the 2019 Pulwama attack, alleging government orchestration.
