Elderly woman murdered in Doda
Jammu: An elderly woman was murdered in Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the attackers forcefully entered the victim’s house in the Akramabad area, where Mursa Begam resided, and subjected her to severe assault, resulting in critical injuries. The victim was rushed to District Hospital Doda for urgent medical attention, but tragically, she was declared dead upon arrival by the attending doctors.
The assailant was reported to have fled the scene after committing the heinous act.
Following a complaint lodged by Amir Sheikh, the grandson of the deceased, the police promptly initiated an investigation into the matter.
