Indian army Lance Naik killed in Rajouri
Srinagar: An Indian Army Lance Naik was fatally shot in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, Lance Naik Balvir Singh sustained a gunshot injury, initially suspected to be from an accidental discharge from a rifle, in the Nowshera brigade area of the district.
Lance Naik Balvir Singh, the deceased army man, suffered the bullet injury on Monday morning and later succumbed to his wounds. His body has been transferred to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities, as stated by the Indian police.
The police have initiated necessary legal procedures and investigations into the matter.
