0.1m farmers committed suicide during BJP rule: Samajwadi Party
Lucknow: The President of Samajwadi Party in India, Akhilesh Yadav, has said that nearly 0.1 million farmers have committed suicide since the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power in the country.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Akhilesh Yadav in a statement said the farmers’ demand for minimum support price (MSP) is absolutely legitimate so it should be implemented and there should be a legal guarantee because agriculture is the backbone of the economy.
He said if farmers and agriculture in the country will be destroyed, it will also have a bad effect on the economy. He further said the upcoming general elections are very important. “If we want to save our Constitution and democracy then BJP has to be wiped out,” he added.
Akhilesh Yadav said on one side there are those who want to protect the Constitution and, on the other, there are those who want to abolish the Constitution.
He said those who came to power in 2014 are going to be out of power in 2024. He said that Hitler was also in power for ten years and now Modi has also completed ten years so now he also has to go.
