Indian troops arrest two Kashmiris in Shopian
Srinagar: Indian troops arrested two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the personnel of Indian Centre Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police arrested the youth during an operation at Malik Chak crossing in the district.
The detained youth have been identified as Suhaib Iqbal and Tufail Yousuf, both residents of Baba Mohalla, Shopian.
In order to justify the arrests, a police officer said that the youths were associates of pro-freedom activists, adding that a case under the draconian Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) has been registered against them in Police Station Heerpora and the investigation in underway.
