Speeding vehicle crushes 60 sheep, injures 40 in Kulgam
Srinagar: At least 60 sheep died while 40 were injured after a flock of sheep was crushed to death by a speedy vehicle on Srinagar-Jammu highway in Kulgam, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official told the media that a flock of sheep was hit by a speedy vehicle near Khudwani on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
He said that in the incident at least 60 sheep lost their lives while 40 were injured. He said that two persons, members of the flock owners, were also injured in the incident who have been hospitalized.
The official said police have taken cognizance of the incident by registering FIR and driver has been arrested while further investigation has been taken up.
