Protest in Rajouri village against IIOJK authorities’ apathy
Jammu: People held a strong protest in a village in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the authorities’ inaction in repairing a vital path after destroying the same, causing immense hardship to the villagers.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was held in Thannamang village, under the jurisdiction of Darhal tehsil. The protesters said that the main path was damaged by the authorities during the construction of a filtration plant.
They said that the path, which serves over 2000 residents and their animals, has been extensively damaged, disrupting daily activities and access to essential services.
The protesters demanded immediate restoration of the path, urging the occupation authorities to take immediate action to address the concerns of the villagers.
