Speakers vow to intensify struggle for Kashmir’s freedom
Muzaffarabad: The speakers at a seminar vowed to intensify the struggle for the freedom of Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the seminar, “Problems faced and measures required” was organised by Jamat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Muzaffarabad, today.
They said despite the illegal Indian actions of August 5, 2019, the disputed status of the Kashmir issue has not changed in the world.
The speakers said for the establishment of sustainable peace in South Asia, the Kashmir dispute needs to be resolved according to the resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council.
They said despite the illegal actions taken by the Government of India on August 5, 2019, the world is standing on the basic position of the global disputed status of the Kashmir dispute.
The expressed serious concerns over the worst violations of human rights, arrests of citizens, arrests of journalists, human rights activists and political workers due to the implementation of black laws in occupied Kashmir.
The speakers said for a fair, long-term and sustainable solution to the Kashmir dispute, it is necessary for the Kashmiri people to have the right to vote freely.
They said for the establishment of real peace in the world, the issue of Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir should be resolved according to the resolutions of the United Nations. The terrorism of Israel and India in Palestine, Gaza and Kashmir is marking the horrific atrocities against humanity, they added.
Secretary General of the World Kashmir Awareness Forum, Ghulam Nabi Fai, senior APHC-AJK leader Ghulam Mohammad Safi, President of Tehreek Kashmir Europe, Muhammad Ghalib, founder of World Kashmir Freedom Movement Nazir Ahmad Qureshi, Chairman of Kashmir Global Zafar Qureshi, President of Tehreek Kashmir UK Raja Faheem Kayani, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Muhammad Altaf. Butt, Chairman of American Welfare Sardar Zulfiqar Roshan, Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice Chairman of International Forum for Justice Mushtaqul Islam, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Raja Jahangir Khan, District Amir Raja Aftab Ahmad Khan, Secretary, Bar Association, Syed Ashfaq Kazmi and other speakers addressed the seminar.
