Indian police martyr civilian in custody in Pulwama
Srinagar: Indian police martyred a civilian in police custody in Pulwama district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police tortured to death, Imtiaz Ahmed Pala, a mechanic by profession, at Litter Police Station of Pulwama.
The condition of Pala deteriorated rapidly after suffering torture. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The victim’s family said that he was picked by the Indian police on Tuesday and then killed him in custody. They are demanding an impartial and thorough probe into the incident.
Meanwhile, APHC spokesman advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas and other parties including Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Hurriyat and Democratic Freedom Party in their separate statements issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to the martyred youth and said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri people will not go waste.
