IIOJK: Driver missing after oil tanker skids in Jhelum
Srinagar: Over speeding oil tanker has plunged into the Jhelum River at Wangipora in Sumbal area of Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police officials said that the incident occurred during the intervening night when an unidentified oil tanker, traveling from Srinagar towards Sumbal, veered off the road near Wangipora checkpost and fell into the Jhelum River along with the driver.
Rescue operations are underway in the area to fish out the ill-fated tanker as well as its driver.
