Srinagar: A minor girl drowned to death in Nowgam Handwara area of Kupwara district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, an official said that a minor daughter of Shafeeq Khan, resident of Nowgam Handwara, Kupwara, drowned into River Mawar.

He said the body has been retrieved by the locals while police have taken cognizance of the incident.
