Congress condemns BJP’s anti-people policies in IIOJK
Srinagar: The Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has attacked the BJP-led Indian government for pursuing policies detrimental to the people of the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, IIOJK Congress chapter President Vikar Rasool Wani in a statement urged party workers to intensify efforts in holding the BJP accountable for its anti-people, anti-youth, anti-student, and anti-farmer policies.
Wani criticized the BJP for indulging in vote-bank politics, manipulating public sentiment, and neglecting the welfare of the people of IIOJK.
IIOJK Congress Working President Raman Bhalla, highlighting the pressing issue of rising unemployment, condemned the BJP government for advertising job opportunities only to later retract them, leaving the youth disillusioned and frustrated.
The IIOJK Congress leaders also directed party officials to educate the public about the BJP’s anti-people policies and communal agenda and to highlight issues like unemployment, property tax, toll plazas, and smart meters when engaging with them.
