Indian forces kill two including woman in India
Bhopal: Indian forces personnel killed two persons, including a woman, in two different incidents of violence in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh states of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police during an operation killed one person identified as Ukas alias Sohan, 30-35 years in Kotiyagala under the jurisdiction of Godri police chowky in Madhya Pradesh state
Indian police described the victim as a Naxal member. Naxal members are demanding independence from India.
The victim, Ukas alias Sohan was a resident of Puvarti village in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
In another military violence, Border Security Force (BSF), District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Bastar Fighters personnel during a cordon and search operation killed a woman in Kanker, an area of violence hit-Chhattisgarh state.
The Superintendent of Police, Indira Kalyan Elesela, dubbed the victim woman a member of People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army.
As many as 139 people in the name of Naxals were killed by Indian forces personnel in different operations and fake encounters in Chhattisgarh, so far, this year. K
