One died, seven injured in Kupwara road accident
Srinagar: A man lost his life while seven others were injured in a road accident in Keran area of Kupwara district in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official told the media that one vehicle turned turtle in Keran area and on boarded eight passengers were injured.
He said that the police party rushed to the spot and injured were shifted to hospital from where few were shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
He added that one injured person, identified as Fareed Ahmad, who is said to be teacher by profession, succumbed to injuries at Soura hospital while his father, who has received critical injuries, is under treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
