APHC-AJK calls for international pressure on India to resolve Kashmir dispute
Lahore: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Jammu & Kashmir Chapter has urged the international community to pressure India to resolve the Jammu & Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi addressing a press conference in Lahore condemned India’s actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), including the imprisonment of Hurriyat leaders and human rights violations.
Safi emphasized Pakistan’s solidarity with the Kashmiris and called for a united stance from Pakistani political and religious parties on the issue. He also announced rallies on July 19 in Sialkot and Lahore to commemorate the Accession to Pakistan Day.
