JKDFF calls for revival of 1931 martyrs’ spirit to get freedom from India
Paris: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum France (JKDFF) President Mirza Asif Jarral has stressed the need to reinvigorate the spirit of martyrs of July 1931 into young Kashmiri generation to get freedom from India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Jarral in a statement issued in Paris vowed to revive the spirit, dedication, and motivation of the 1931 martyrs, who founded the freedom movement that will conclude with complete liberation from Indian shackles.
The statement demanded that the civilized world compel the Modi government to end human rights violations in the Valley, where people are kept hostage by deploying huge Indian military and paramilitary troops. The meeting also warned against changing the demographic complexion of the state and demanded that the United Nations officials play their role against Modi’s oppression.
JKDFF observed Burhan Wani’s martyrdom, with Jarral saying that Wani’s martyrdom has ignited a new movement for Kashmir’s freedom. He urged the international community to take notice of Indian atrocities and play their part in protecting Kashmiri women and youth. He also called on the United Nations, the European Union, and the OIC to use their influence to rescue the Kashmiri people from Indian oppression.
