BJP used Kashmiri Pandits migration issue to gain Hindu votes: Panun Kashmir
Jammu: Panun Kashmir, an organization of Kashmiri Pandits in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership for using the issue of migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley to blame their opponents and gain Hindu votes across India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Panun Kashmir chairman Ajay Chrungoo talking to reporters in Jammu said the BJP is using the issue of migration of Kashmiri Pandits to gain the sympathies of Pandits and Hindus.
He said in the last 10 years, the BJP-led Modi government has not taken any practical steps for Kashmiri Pandits. He said despite the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019 and the division of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories, the BJP government has shown indifference and prejudice towards Kashmiri Pandits.
Ajay Krongo said that BJP is treating Kashmiri Pandits like second-class citizens
