494 Indian troops killed in IIOJK since 2021: Report
Srinagar: Since 2021, at least 494 Indian forces personnel, including officers, have been killed in attacks and other incidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a Kashmir Media Service report, 116 of the total killed personnel from the Indian army, Rashtriya Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Indian Air Force, Special Police Officer, Special Operation Group, and Village Defence Guard committed suicide during the stated period.
Since January 2024, 52 Indian forces personnel have been killed, and 60 have been injured in the occupied territory.
The data indicates that 166 Indian forces personnel were killed in 2021, 146 in 2022, and 130 in 2023 in various violent incidents in the territory.
