Tarigami criticizes IIOJK authorities’ apathy towards Kashmiri landowners
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami has expressed serious concerns over the
apathy shown by authorities in compensating the Kashmiri landowners whose lands have been procured for different purposes.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Tarigami in a statement said that the landowners are aghast over the negligent approach adopted by concerned departments since 2019. He emphasized that the indifferent behavior of officials associated with the the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and other departments has sparked widespread consternation among the public.
Tarigami demanded immediate compensation for those affected by the acquisition of lands under PMGSY and other initiatives.
