Political leader Rasheed brutally killed in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: A member of ex-Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party’s youth wing was hacked to death in the middle of the road in Andhra Pradesh state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the brutal attack which was captured on camera when the 25-year-old victim, Sheikh Rasheed, a member of the YSR Congress Party’s youth wing, was brutally attacked by a TDP fanatic. Eyewitnesses report that accused severed both of Rasheed’s hands before delivering a fatal blow to his neck at Vinukonda town in Palnadu district of the state.

The incident happened on a busy road in the town, which created panic among the public and residents there.

The Superintendent of Police Kanchi Srinivasa Rao, in a statement denied the allegations of involvement of political differences in this murder.

On the other hand, the YSR Congress Party, while taking to X (Formerly Twitter), criticised that, “a TDP goon who transformed into an anthropomorphic monster, has brutally killed a YSRCP activist in Palnadu. Vinukonda YSRCP youth wing leader Rashid was viciously attacked with a knife, leading to severe injuries to both his hands and a fatal neck wound. Rashid tragically died while receiving treatment in the hospital”.

With tensions running high in Vinukonda town, police have beefed up security. Palnadu had witnessed post-poll violence in April and May as TDP and YSRCP workers attacked each other.
