Protests against death of three students in New Delhi coaching center
New Delhi: Protests are ongoing after three students died when water flooded a coaching center in New Delhi, the capital of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, three students died due to water flooding in Rao IAS Coaching Institute located in the basement of a multi-storied building in New Delhi. Shriya Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Soni from Telangana and Naveen Dalwin of Kerala were among the dead students.
Due to the death of fellow students, thousands of youth, including students, took to the streets of New Delhi to protest.
The protesters were demanding action against the officials of the Delhi Municipal Corporation and the coaching centre. This tragic accident took place on Saturday evening.
After intense protest, the Delhi government has sealed 13 coaching centres located in basements across the city.
