Rain brings respite after intense heatwave in IIOJK
Srinagar: Rain has brought relief to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Kashmir, alleviating the ongoing heatwave in the territory.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Meteorological Department (MeT) said light to moderate rains have been recorded in various parts of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, with intermittent showers expected to continue over the next few days.
Rainfall was reported in Srinagar, Qazigund, Pahalgam, Kupwara, Gulmarg, Jammu and Bhaderwah.
The MeT has forecasted light to moderate rain and occasional heavy spells, especially in Kathua district, through the upcoming days. This weather change comes as a relief from the intense heatwave that had gripped the territory recently.
