Farooq Abdullah sounds alarm on IIOJK situation, advocates for India-Pakistan peace
Srinagar: National Conference (NC) President Dr. Farooq Abdullah has voiced serious concerns about the deteriorating situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu & Kashmir, emphasizing that peace is crucial for the prosperity of both India and Pakistan.
According to Kashmir Media Service, talking to reporters in Srinagar, Farooq Abdullah described the current situation in IIOJK as dangerous and alarming. He expressed strong desire for peace between India and Pakistan, lamenting that the prevailing atmosphere seems to be moving in the opposite direction.
Addressing recent developments, Farooq Abdullah urged the Indian government to take steps to halt the rising attacks on Indian forces’ personnel.
He reiterated, “We want peace between the two countries and pray for improved relations between India and Pakistan.”
The NC top leader underscored that peace is essential for both the countries to thrive, stating, “We believe that peace is the only path to prosperity for both India and Pakistan.”
