Man dies of electrocution in IIOJK’s Bandipora
Srinagar: A man died due to an electric shock in Ashtengoo Ghat village of Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Friday morning.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the local officials have confirmed the death of a villager who had received electric shock near his home in the Ashtengoo Ghat area this morning.
The officials said that the man, identified as Javid Ahmad Mathanji son of Abdul Sattar Mathanji of Ashtengoo Ghat, was shifted to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and after medico-legal formalities body will be handed over to family.
