Another body of a civilian found in Bandipora
Srinagar: A civilian’s body was found in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the body of Junaid Bashir, a resident of Bazipora Ajas, was discovered near the Jhelum River’s banks in Wangipora area.
A police official confirmed the finding, stating that locals shifted the body to Sumbal’s Community Health Centre (CHC) for medico-legal formalities.
Investigations have been initiated.
Earlier on Wednesday: another body of a 22-year-old missing youth was found in Srinagar city. The body of Roman Nazir was recovered from a nalla at Pahloo Brein, Nishat area of city. The youth had been missing since September 28, 2024, while his family filed a missing person report at Nishat Police Station on October 1, 2024.
