Elderly tourist dies while taking selfie, woman injured in IIOJK
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official told the media that Abdul Malik, a 70-year-old tourist, lost his life after slipping while attempting to take a selfie at the scenic location.
Naseema Khatoon, a companion from Kolkata, was injured in the same incident and is currently receiving medical attention.
The victims lost their footing while navigating the slippery terrain, leading to the fatal fall.
The deceased, Abdul Malik, was reportedly on a sightseeing trip to the valley with his family.
