Pakistan will continue its unwavering support to Kashmiri brothers, sisters: Amir Muqam
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam has said that Kashmir resides in the hearts of Pakistanis and a clear message will be given on the occasion of Black Day on October 27.
According to Kashmir Media Service, it was on October 27 in 1947 when Indian troops, in total violation of the spirit of the Partition Plan of the Subcontinent, had militarily invaded Jammu and Kashmir and illegally occupied it against the will of the Kashmiri people.
A review meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Engineer Amir Maqam regarding the observance of Black Day on 27th October.
He said that India had landed its troops in Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, 1947 and occupied it, which has been rejected by the Kashmiri people.
Engineer Amir Maqam said Pakistan will continue its unwavering support to its Kashmiri brothers and sisters and the voice of Kashmiris will be conveyed to the whole world and the Pakistani people will not take rest until the just solution of the Kashmir dispute.
He said that Pakistan would continue to support the Kashmiri brothers politically, morally and diplomatically until they achieve the right to self-determination as per the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
