BSF man commits suicide in West Bengal
Kolkata: An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) man has committed suicide in West Bengal state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the BSF soldier, identified as Narendra Singh (33), committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver during duty hours at the Jalghar Border Outpost (BOP) in Balurghat Block, South Dinajpur.
The deceased was a resident of Kilpur in Uttar Pradesh and was posted at the 164th Battalion of the BSF.
Following the incident, Narendra Singh was immediately rushed to District Hospital, Balurghat, where doctors pronounced him dead.
