Kashmir solidarity echoes at Global Palestine Conference in Ankara
Ankara: A global call to action resonated in Ankara as Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed addressed the “Global Palestine Conference,” urging Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to spearhead international efforts supporting Palestine. The senator’s emotive appeal also drew attention to the plight of Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, a member of the Executive Board of the Istanbul-based “Al Quds Parliament” and Co-Chairman of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), presented a 3-point Action Plan. This plan includes:
– President Erdogan should lead a delegation comprising leaders from Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, Algeria, and Brazil to Washington. Their mission would be to persuade the newly elected US President to reverse America’s one-sided support for Israel.
– Turkey, Pakistan, and Indonesia should form a naval flotilla to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza, breaking Israel’s blockade after securing UN General Assembly authorization.
– Building on President Erdogan and Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir’s 2019 joint initiative, this would represent the Muslim Ummah in the battle of ideas and narratives, promoting truth and facts on issues like Palestine, Kashmir, Islamophobia, and Rohingya.
Mushahid Hussain hailed the resistance of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran against Israeli aggression, condemning Israel’s “televised genocide” and Western double standards. He emphasized the need for Muslim leaders to move beyond words, taking concrete actions.
