Indian forces arrest NC leader Bashir Weri at Srinagar airport
SRINAGAR: Indian forces detained Bashir Ahmed Weri, National Conference leader and MLA from Bijbehara constituency, at Srinagar airport.
According to Kashmir Media Service, forces claimed to have recovered two pistol bullets from Weri’s possession.
He was headed to Jammu when arrested during routine checking. Weri was shifted to Humhama police station for investigation.
