APHC-AJK holds prayer meeting in Islamabad
Islamabad: A prayer meeting was held at the office of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter in Islamabad under the leadership of Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi for the brother of senior JKPL leader Abdul Rehman Tota, the aunt of imprisoned leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, and the soldiers of the Pakistan Army martyred in Waziristan and all the martyrs of Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the participants of the meeting paid tributes to the soldiers of the Pakistan Army martyred in Waziristan who sacrificed their lives for the defence and integrity of the homeland, destroying the evil intentions of the enemy. They also expressed heartfelt sympathies with their families.
Hurriyat leaders Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Mir Tahir Masood, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Pervez Ahmed, Ms Shamim Shawl, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Haji Muhammad Sultan, Raja Khadim Hussain, Zahid Ashraf, Dawood Khan, Imtiaz Wani, Mian Muzaffar, Ijaz Rahmani, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Syed Gulshan Ahmed, Sheikh Abdul Majid, Abdul Hameed Lone, Qazi Imran, Imtiaz Butt, Abdul Rashid Butt and others attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, Mushaal Hussain Malik, wife of incarcerated Kashmir leader and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik has expressed her deep condolences, praying that Allah grants Yasin Malik and his family the strength to endure this difficult time. She also condemned the Indian authorities for their inhumane treatment, stating that Yasin Malik was denied permission to attend the funeral prayers of his aunt.
