APHC-AJK leader Abdul Majeed Malik passes away in Islamabad
Islamabad: The leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Abdul Majeed Malik, passed away in Islamabad.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 65-year-old leader was suffering from multiple ailments for a long time and passed away in Burma Town, Islamabad, today. He was also representing the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM). He worked hard for the Kashmir cause and was in touch with the oppressed people of IIOJK for the Kashmir resolution.
His funeral prayer will be offered at Fatima school and College, Burma town Islamabad, tonight.
Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Faiz Naqshbandi, Mir Tahir Masood, Muhammad Yousuf Naseem, Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah, Shameem Shawl, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, Altaf Wani, , Zahid Ashraf, Sanaullah Dar, Abdul Majid, Altaf Ahmad Butt and others in their statements in Islamabad expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Abdul Majeed Malik and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in peace.
Several Hurriyat members and activists also in their separate statements condoled the death Abdul Majeed Malik and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
