Kashmiris continue enduring decades of suffering for self-determination

Srinagar: The Kashmiri people have endured over seven decades of oppression and suffering under Indian rule, with their relentless calls for implementation of the UN-pledged right to self-determinaiton met by brutal responses from Indian forces.
According to a report by Kashmir Media Service, more than 96,000 Kashmiris have lost their lives over the past 35 years due to violent crackdowns by Indian troops.
This decades-long struggle in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has left the territory scarred, while the Kashmiri people’s aspirations for justice and self-determination remain unwavering.
