New Zealand grants permission for Khalistan Referendum, dismisses Indian objections
Wellington: New Zealand has rejected India’s objections and granted permission to Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) to hold a Khalistan Referendum.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Khalistan Referendum is scheduled to take place at Aotea Square in Auckland on Sunday, November 17. Local authorities have assured the Sikh community that the referendum will be allowed to proceed as planned.
Earlier, similar referendums were conducted in cities across the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
Political analysts have pointed out that the referendum could strain diplomatic relations between India and New Zealand.
