APHC-AJK pays tribute to Majaz Kashmiri on his death anniversary
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri liberation leader Majaz Kashmiri on his death anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK organized a prayer meeting at its office in Islamabad on the eighth death anniversary of the late leader under the chairmanship of Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi in his address on the occasion, paying tributes to the late Majaz Kashmiri, said the unprecedented sacrifices of Kashmiris for freedom from illegal Indian occupation will definitely bear fruit one day. He also paid tributes to the soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred in the terrorist attack in Bannu and expressed full solidarity with their families.
APHC-AJK senior leader Mahmood Ahmed Saghar in his address paid rich tributes to the late Majaz Kashmiri and the martyrs of Kashmir and said the great sacrifices of Kashmiris will never go waste.
At the end of the meeting, Ghulam Muhammad Safi prayed for the elevation of the ranks of all the martyrs of Kashmir and the martyrs of the Pak Army.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat leaders from Jammu region, including Qazi Imran, Khalid Shabbir, Imtiaz Butt and Abdul Rashid Butt, have strongly condemned the arrest of several social activists from Doda district of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir by Indian troops.
During a meeting they said the Modi government has been committing atrocities on unarmed civilians in the occupied territory, but despite this, it has failed to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiris.
They appealed to the international community to put pressure on India to end the atrocities on innocent Kashmiris and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute.
