Modi is not Prime Minister of India, but of Adani: Aam Aadmi Party
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader and member of the Indian Parliament’s Upper House, Sanjay Singh has said that due to the corruption of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s close friend, Gautam Adani, Indian investors have lost Rs 5.50 lakh crore.
According to Kashmir Media Service, in a statement, Sanjay Singh said that whenever Modi travels abroad, his friend Gautam Adani secures major business deals in those countries.
He added that Modi is not the Prime Minister of India, but of Adani. Modi travels abroad not to strengthen India, but to bolster the business empire of his friend.
He further stated that due to Adani’s corruption, approximately Rs 5.5 lakh crore of the public’s hard-earned money has been lost, and now Modi remains completely silent on the issue.
Sanjay Singh also pointed out that U.S. investigative agencies have revealed that Gautam Adani’s nephew, Sagar Adani, bribed officials with Rs 2,200 crore to secure energy contracts being funded by international investors, including some from the US.
Singh questioned why Indian agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are silent while action is being taken on this issue in the United States.
