Mirwaiz launches ‘Privilege Health Card’ for prayer leaders in Srinagar
Srinagar: Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has unveiled a ‘Privilege Health Card’ for prayer leaders in Nowgam area of Srinagar in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the initiative, introduced by the private hospital, offers free medical check-ups, diagnostics, specialist consultations, and access to advanced facilities for mosque leaders in occupied Kashmir.
Mirwaiz lauded the initiative as a pioneering effort, urging its extension to the families of prayer leaders. During the launch, he emphasized the need for compassion in healthcare and called for improved services in both government and private sectors.
“This initiative sets a precedent for inclusive healthcare for a vital segment of our community,” Mirwaiz stated, while commending the hospital for its commitment to service.
