Hindu youth impersonating Muslim issues fake bomb threat at Kumbh Mela in UP
New Delhi : In a disturbing attempt to spread hatred against Muslims, a Hindu youth from Bihar has been found impersonating a Muslim and posting a bomb threat on social media targeting the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Ayush Kumar Jaiswal, 18, created a fraudulent Instagram account under the name ‘Nasir Pathan’ and issued a threat claiming that a bombing would kill 1,000 people at the event.
The message, which read “All of you will be killed, In Sha Allah,” included the address of Jaiswal’s hometown and a provocative challenge to authorities. The police traced the threat back to Jaiswal through his IP address, leading to his arrest. He was captured in Bihar after initially fleeing to Nepal.
Congress leaders condemned the incident, calling it a deliberate attempt to spread animosity against the Muslim community. Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi described the act as part of a wider conspiracy, highlighting how such fabricated incidents are used to fuel hatred.
Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate also condemned the incident, emphasizing the dangerous consequences of spreading such divisive rhetoric. KMS-9K
