Five killed, 35 injured as pilgrimage bus falls into gorge in Gujarat
Ahmedabad: Five people were killed and thirty-five others were injured when a private bus carrying pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh fell into a deep gorge in Gujarat state, India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred during the early hours today when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle near the Saputara hill station.
Officials stated that the injured have been rushed to local hospitals for treatment, with 17 of the injured reported to be in critical condition. The bus driver was among the deceased, which included three men and two women.
