‘India pursues falsehood as state policy to malign Pakistan’s image’
Islamabad: It is crystal clear that India pursues falsehood as state policy to malign the image of Pakistan through well-planned and sponsored military actions followed by media efforts.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian media has been repeatedly exposed globally for its irresponsible reporting, especially with regards to propaganda against Pakistan.
There are numerous examples of international news channels (France 24, BBC) which at different occasions, pointed towards the ethical lack of reporting by Indian news channels as Pakistan has been the primary target of Indian state sponsored falsehood.
India has launched a malicious propaganda campaign accusing Pakistan of cross-border terrorism in IIOJK and has peddled multifaceted propaganda narratives based on cross-border infiltration at LoC, changing its stance at every occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that the tall claims by Indian military command contradict Indian state narrative.
The statements of GOC 15 Corps deployed in IIOJK bear testimony.
On 20th Sept 2021, GOC15 Corps said that peace is prevailing along LoC and no ceasefire violations have been reported in the entire J&K this year, just 60-70 terrorists are active in the region.
On 29 Dec 2021, he said that infiltration attempts by Pakistan in J&K declined in 2021. On May 05, 2022, outgoing Indian Army’s GOC 15 Lt. Gen D.P. Pandey claimed that “the cycle of violence in Kashmir had been broken, and, for the first time, the number of active militants has gone below 130. On Sep 29, 2022, once again Indian Army GoC 16 Corps Lt General Manjinder Singh said that there have not been much infiltration attempts along the LoC as Indian forces have nuetralised complete eco-system of terrorism in IIOJK.
Instead of spreading misinformation, India should permit independent fact-finding missions, media, and rights groups to assess the real situation on the ground in IIOJK.
