IIOJK assembly erupts over hush-up of Kathua killings, indecent fashion show

Srinagar: Heated exchanges erupted in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Assembly as National Conference and other members accused New Delhi of hushing up the recent Kathua killings and the controversial fashion show in Gulmarg.
According to Kashmir Media Service, interestingly opposition BJP members briefly mentioned the Kathua killings and insisted on continuing the Question Hour, prompting strong objections from NC, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Independent MLAs. They demanded an inquiry, asserting that India controls law and order in the territory and must answer for the deaths.
The bodies of three missing civilians, last seen on March 5 in Billawar, were recovered from a waterbody in Kathua on Saturday.
The MLAs also denounced the fashion show in Gulmarg during Ramadan, calling it an affront to public sentiment. The House witnessed a 25-minute uproar, with Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather struggling to restore order.
