CM Omar questions logic behind ban on AAC, JKIM by Amit Shah in IIOJK

Srinagar: Widespread condemnations continue to pour in against the ban imposed on Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) and Jammu and Kashmir Ittehadul Muslimeen (JKIM) by the Modi-led Indian regime.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah speaking to the media persons questioned the logic behind the ban imposed by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah on these two organizations.

Omar Abdullah said that the Modi government had failed to provide concrete evidence justifying such actions.

He called for greater transparency and a clear explanation regarding these significant decisions, emphasizing that all political and social measures should be based on concrete facts.

On the controversial fashion show held in Gulmarg, Abdullah expressed concerns over its timing and appropriateness, given the prevailing political and security situation in the territory.

He stressed that such events should be organized with greater sensitivity to the current climate, highlighting the need for caution and responsibility.
